Technological and production capacity for PCB assembly

    Carat Electronics covers all processes of development, implementation, production, setting up, testing, control and completion of electronic products.

      The company has long-standing traditions and rich professional experience in the field of electronic products assembly. Two mutually-interacting technological processes are applied for PCB assembly - SMD (surface mounting) and conventional (manual) assembly. For that purpose, the company has implemented two robotized production lines for SMD assembly and three lines for conventional assembly and the number of the conventional production lines may be doubled if necessary.

The first SMD line is equipped with:
     · Stencil printer SPM100 IvasTech;
     · PLM2000 robot;
     · Conventional reflow oven ZAEPHER, Dima Company, The Netherlands.
    The line is suitable for test series and relatively small volume of production series.

The second SMD lines includes the following modules:
     · Samsung magazine loader LD300LE;
     · Samsung PRINTER MODEL SP-450VCEC - 2D inspection;
     · Samsung SM421;
     · High-temperature profile reflow oven ВТО62 – eight zones.
     The line is suitable for high-volume production series.

Technological features:
     · various temperature profiles, optimal for the soldering process;
     · possibility for working with lead-free pastes and tinols;
     · capacity for placing of 60 million components per year for the two lines;
     · possibility for processing of PCBs with dimensions from 7x7 cm and 43x40 cm;
     · components height – from 0.38 to 4.2 mm;
     · placement of components from 0201 to a square with size 2.2x2.2 cm;
     · placement of big integral circuits up to 4.2x4.2 cm with 0.4 step;
     · assembly of connectors of up to 72 mm;
     · optical inspection systems and equipment for SMD components correction;
     · protection against electrostatic interferences - EN 61340-5-1 standard;
     · electronic access control and air conditioning in the technological areas;
     · 3 complete manual soldering production lines;
